Do you not have enough time or room to put up a Christmas tree? To be honest with you I’m still trying to grasp that Thanksgiving has just passed and this year is almost over.
For those of you that are traveling over the holidays and are forgoing a tree this year but still want some essence of a tree or tree spirit, I found some fun alternatives to try instead of a traditional tree. I’m personally skipping a tree this year myself mostly because I live in a small apartment and am heading to North Lake Tahoe for New Years. And I don’t like seeing all those pine trees being cut down each year but still love the smell of them.
My tree alternative is my moss trees DIY project that I made and blogged about earlier this month and it got me thinking of what others have done.
It’s nice doing things out of the ordinary and trying something new most people wouldn’t have thought of. I did some web searches and found some pretty unique and awesome tree alternatives to the traditional tree for all of the holiday decor rebels out there and for those of us that think outside the box. Lol!
Here are ten of my favorite tree alternatives below for some extra holiday spirit.
2. Printable tree from HP

Which of these ten modern Christmas trees are your favorite? My personal favorite is the wall mounted wooden tree with the bubble lights:-) These are just a few modern designs on Christmas trees, there is just so many really creative alternatives to make yourself or buy. I’m blown away by the possibility of tree alternatives that one could decide to decorate with. Happy Holidays Everyone!
