My favorite trends on the runway & for interiors spaces in 2012. Be sure to keep an eye out for the four as you’ll being seeing them quite a bit this year.

Lots of eye popping patterns that are inspired by mid-century designs.
Labrazel snakeskin pump dispenser, cannister, and tray set can add a nice but subtle texture and interest to any master bath.
A stunning, Royal Python Bench by Two’s Company is a bold choice with a black, white, and gray palette.
Boa wallpaper by Osborne & Little would be a great addition to an accent wall in the boudoir and even a powder room.

Oh the allure of reptillian prints!
This look certainly makes a statement and can add sexy sophistication to the right space.

Have you been seeing beautiful watercolors everywhere? I certainly have! Whether you decide to decorate with watercolor in your home or spice up your wardrobe you can’t go wrong either way. What I like most about watercolor is it has a fluid organic sense about it.
Definitely, is one trend I think we will see a lot of in the New Year. Makes me want to take my watercolors out & get creative with a couple of paintings or dye some fabrics & linens.
Fun bold colors, you can see big blocks of colors in interior design, furniture and accessories. Also, a nice change of pace to see the 2011/2012 winter fashion collection. These playful crayon colors add so much drama to modern & traditional backdrops.
