I hope you all enjoyed the long Thanksgiving weekend. It was nice taking a few days off to just hang out with family and friends.
That said, while lounging on the sofa in the living room I loved the newest issue of BHG magazine, I was inspired by this familie’s ranch home DIY holiday decorations they made and want to make for my place ASAP.
Below are a few photos I took inside the magazine of the festive holiday decorations they did.
Let me just say I really like the look of the color combination they used: red, white and a mint green/blue. So fun!
Also, I loved the glass jars filled with blue, red and white color candy on top of their fireplace mantel, it’s really sweet and playful.
Also the candy cane wreath looks really easy to make and I also really like the handmade looking advent calendar. A DIY project I want to do soon.
All white kitchen with stubble hints of red stripe grain sack linen on the countertop, I have one just like it laying on top of my sofa.
So, this is the holiday look I’m going to go for in my home this year. Do you like the color combo they used? What are your thoughts?
Let the holiday decorating begin!
P.S: The images aren’t that good that I took on my cell phone. I tried finding this article on the BHG website but couldn’t find it, I’d suggested buying the new December issue.
Happy cyber Monday, the biggest online shopping day of the year:-)
