A fun theme I’ve been liking this season is pretty pastel palettes.
They’re also a big design trend this Spring & Summer. Pastel palettes such as mint greens and pale pinks seem to be everywhere even in fashion and also in the interior design world.
Some of us may automatically associate pastels with decorating a child’s bedrooms and may even think it’s way too girly.
However, pastels are quite dimensional even though most of us wouldn’t think so. In fact, if done right they can be very dramatic, stunning and sophisticated in some instances.
Soft pastels have the ability to create a neutral backdrop in a space and incorporate just a hint of color. Also, if you’re not big on bold hues then small amounts of pastels are a good start.
Love it, or not your taste, below are some inspiring images of pastels in design.
I love the mint green kitchen cabinets.
The soft pink sofa & floral arrangement pops nicely with this neutral wall.

What are your thoughts? Would you incorporate pastels in your home?
