F.A.L.L letters clothes pinned to Jute or Burlap String with Maple Leaves.
This decoration can be hung anywhere in the home. Most of these items are available at your local craft store. They usually have great deals around the Holiday season to decorate your home.
I found these faux maple leaves that looked real and some wooden letters that spell FALL, jute string and some wood clothes pins. I also picked up yellow, blue & red acrylic paint for the wood letters. By using acrylic paint, it dries much faster than oil paint. This craft project turned out pretty nice.

Here is what you need:
1. Jute string
2. Real or Faux Maple Leaves
3. Wooden letters (any words you want to write)
4. Wooden Clothes Pins
5. Acrylic paint (red, yellow, blue)
6. Clear heavy duty tape or push-pins

Step one: mix the colors together to paint the letters. (yellow-blue make green, yellow-red make orange)
Step two: Once one side of the letters are done and dry to the touch, flip to other side and paint.
Wait to dry again.
Step three: Measure or bring the string to the fireplace mantel and fit to size.
Step four: Then place the jute string on the floor and decide where you want everything to be placed (maple leafs & letters).
Step five: Use clothes pins to fasten the letters & leafs on the string. Then us push-pins or tape to hang on the fire place.
Another fun & decorative home project to try! Enjoy!
