Long Beach Flea Market

The Long Beach flea market at the Veterans Stadium was a nice experience today. It’s held every third Sunday of every month, even if it rains. I went for the first time with my friend Helen and it was sensory overload. This flea market has over 800 dealers, antiques, home goods and lots of collectibles. The dealers will bargain & negotiate on prices. The best time to go is first thing in the morning. That is when all the dealers are setting up and putting fresh goods to pick out if your really on a mission or In search of something in particular. Otherwise, it’s a fun activity to do on Sunday a there’s still lots of great items to pick from. I highly recommend going to this flea market, it’s considered one of the top ten in U.S.

Here are some of the pictures I took at the flea market:

I’ve been thinking of checking it out! I’m dying to score a new lamp shade for a table that I’m making.
