A lot of people think that wallpaper isn’t being used in design anymore. Wallpaper is actually a key factor in interior design these days. I have been seeing it everywhere on HGTV, in design magazines & online. It’s really making a comeback. Using wallpaper on accent walls and hints of small areas in rooms really looks luxurious. Design wise I have seen a lot of floral and geometric styles being used. However, if you have any reservations on wallpaper then maybe stay away from it altogether. It can be tricky picking out the right design and takes a lot of guts to use bold prints. If you’re willing to hang wallpaper yourself, you’re able to save money, but if it’s done by a professional it can be costly. If you want to experiment with wallpaper decorating then start with a small project. Have a home sales assistant to help assist you on the project, after all they’re there to help. Make sure you have the right supplies you will need in order to hang the wallpaper properly. Most people start off with accent walls and gradually do more if they like the look. Finally, when you’re ready to dress an entire room with your favorite print, be confident with your choice. Another thing to keep in mind is don’t put up anything too bright or elaborate. Try going for an upbeat look that’s not overpowering. Find a color that blends with the rest of the home and furniture decor. Here are some examples of some wall paper designs:
