I remember studying color blocking when I was in college and I’ve always been drawn to this look. Not only is this a big trend in the fashion world, it’s popping up in the design world. I definitely think it makes an interesting use of interiors, art, fashion and architecture.

Talk about a piece of art!

It was inspired by the Dutch Artist Piet Mondrian’s famous Composition with Yellow, Blue and Red 1939-1942 which is at the Tate in London.

Color blocking can often be seen in modern architecture.

Great wall clock, great colors combinations.

So, what are your thoughts on color blocking? Do you love it or are you not so into this trend? Please feel free to comment:-)
