I have always loved the look of statement lighting. One chandelier style I’ve been really interested in is the Sputnik, it’s a classic midcentury lighting that adds a nice drama in a space.

Another great aspect of this light that I’m drawn to is its form sculpture and that it can double as art.

There are so many variations of the Sputnik chandelier it’s really up to you which style you lean more towards.

Below are a few spaces that I think used the Sputnik chandelier beautifully and varying styles to look at that may spark your interest in this design style.

Jonathan Adler ($1425)

Design Within Reach ($1325)

Restoration Hardware ($625)

Check out this Orbit chandelier from Z Gallerie, it’s only $299.00. It’s not vintage buy it is affordable and still would work nicely in any space in your home or office.

Here are some more styles of these retro cool and funky chandeliers to get a better idea of different looks of the Sputnik light from Style Carrot blog.

What are your thoughts on this retro styled chandelier, love it or not your style?
