The indicator light on my controller is flashing. What should I do?

A flashing light usually means the controller needs a reset.

Unplug the controller from the wall and product.
Wait 30 seconds, then reconnect all cords (align arrows).

I feel some warmth but not a lot. How warm should this product get?

This product is designed for gentle, all-over warmth—not intense, direct heat like a heating pad. In normal operation, it will feel warm but not hot, providing comfortable warmth that is evident during use.

Why is my controller warm?

This is normal. The warmth is from the internal power supply converting electricity for your product, much like a laptop charger. It is designed to operate safely at this temperature.

The controller is lit but the product does not heat up.

Quick Test: Fold the product and set to High for 5 minutes (ensure the light is on). If the inner layers feel warm, it's working. Caution: Never leave folded for more than 7 minutes.

I got this heated blanket as an alternative to the flannel-like one I currently have. While I like my current one fine, it's not a particularly soft and cozy fabric, and it collects all kinds of lint, dog hair, and such that's nearly impossible to get completely off. I have a couple of other non-heated faux fur blankets, and I've been really pleased with them, so I decide to give this combined faux fur and electric heat a try.WOW! This thing is exceptionally soft! It's petting-a-bunny soft! It's not even cold yet where I live, and I still wanted to curl up in it! The flip side of the throw is also very soft; there's nothing scratchy or rough about it. The size, as you can see by my photo, is plenty large enough for two people to sit on the couch under it (though I'm not sure I'll be willing to share.)As for heating, when I first plugged it in and turned it on, I assumed it would take several minutes to heat up. Nope! I could feel it heating almost immediately. The heat seemed to be evenly distributed and virtually edge to edge. So far, the quality and performance of this throw have exceeded my expectations! If it continues to perform as it has initially, I will be getting one for my mother (and maybe daughter) for Christmas.
