The indicator light on my controller is flashing. What should I do?

A flashing light usually means the controller needs a reset.

Unplug the controller from the wall and product.
Wait 30 seconds, then reconnect all cords (align arrows).

I feel some warmth but not a lot. How warm should this product get?

This product is designed for gentle, all-over warmth—not intense, direct heat like a heating pad. In normal operation, it will feel warm but not hot, providing comfortable warmth that is evident during use.

Why is my controller warm?

This is normal. The warmth is from the internal power supply converting electricity for your product, much like a laptop charger. It is designed to operate safely at this temperature.

The controller is lit but the product does not heat up.

Quick Test: Fold the product and set to High for 5 minutes (ensure the light is on). If the inner layers feel warm, it's working. Caution: Never leave folded for more than 7 minutes.

Wow, this is such a great electric throw blanket. It is very soft and plush on one side, and smooth on the other. It has a nice weight to it, providing some warmth without even plugging it in. The throw heats up quite quickly by simply pressing the 'power' circle button to turn it 'on', and it becomes comfortably warm within a few minutes. And, while it is a good size, it is a "throw" and not a full-size "blanket". So, depending on a person's height, say approximately 5' 9" tall, it will cover their feet to around mid-chest. Adjusting the temperature is also quite easy by using the control. By pressing the 'plus' button, the temperature will increase, and pressing the 'minus' button reduces it. My only complaint is the explanation of how to set the 'timer' function. In the instructions, where they "could have" placed the diagram of the control with the 'legend' describing the feature on the same page, instead, they have split it into two pages. Thus forcing you to flip back and forth between the pages. Now, for the majority of functions, this isn't an issue. However, when it comes to setting the 'timer' feature, having to flip pages, find where you were reading, and then comprehend the instructions creates confusion. I attempted to set the timer, but due to the previous issues and poor writing of the instructions, I'm not sure what, if anything, I may have achieved. Despite this, I believe part of this could be user error, and given more experimentation, things would become clear. And this isn't so much to take away from the overall rating and quality of the throw. I obviously can't provide a report on its durability since I haven't had it very long. But it feels wonderful, and well-made. It heats fast and is easily adjustable, and the button to power it 'on' is the same button you press to turn it back 'off'. Easy enough. You'll be glad you have this when winter officially arrives!
